Prosiect llwybrau Vortipor

Mae’r gymuned wedi ennill tri llwybrau troed, mapiau trywydd a taflenni gwybodaeth, byrddau gwybodaeth gymunedol dau, hysbysfwrdd cyffredinol, safle we gwell, cyfrifiadur, argraffydd a thaflunydd pen bwrdd, cefnogi o ganlyniad, gyfieithu y llyfr hanes lleol i’r Gymraeg, ynghyd â fersiynau llyfr E ar gael yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg. ac uned arddangos sgrin gyffwrdd.
Y prosiect Cymerodd dros ddwy flynedd i gwblhau a chyflwyno llawer o heriau i’r Aelodau y ddau grŵp sy’n cyfrannu.
Yr offer newydd yn rhoi’r gymuned a’r cymdeithasau ddau arfau ychwanegol i ddangos a hysbysu unrhyw un beth wedi bod ac yn cael ei gyflawni, ac yn darparu digon o botensial cyfleoedd dysgu i bawb yn y dyfodol.
Y prosiect oedd yn ariannu cynllun Grant treftadaeth a thirwedd Sir Gaerfyrddin a oedd yn rhan a ariennir gan Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, cynllun datblygu gwledig, Llywodraeth Cymru, Cyngor Sir Gaerfyrddin ac mewn nwyddau gan yr Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol.

BORE COFFI MACMILLAN AC OCSIWN
Troi pobl allan mewn grym unwaith eto i wneud y bore coffi MacMillan yn y Plash ar 27 Medi yn llwyddiant mawr. Erbyn diwedd y bore tua roedd wedi codi £655.10. Cododd yr ocsiwn a gynhaliwyd ar ddydd Gwener 31 Hydref yn y Plash rhoi cyfanswm diwygiedig ar £1496.41 o £810.00, sef pellach.
Helen Bentley y Trefnydd wedi talu teyrnged i fand o helpwyr gan gynnwys Christie Goymer, Dennis Crowton, Jackie Taylor a Peter Icke a chefnogwyr lu oedd a roddodd gwobrau, cacennau ac eitemau sawrus.

 

 

Bwrdd deongliadol y Cardi Bach

Galluogodd y grant Sir Gaerfyrddin tirwedd a Threftadaeth i gynhyrchu Bwrdd newydd goffáu rheilffordd y Cardi Bach ni. Mae’r Bwrdd a leolir ger hen reilffordd croesi ar ochr arall y ffordd i’r orsaf ac ar hyd ochr y llwybr o’r llinell rheilffordd. Mae gan y Bwrdd ddarlun fywiog gan Peter Icke o sut y gallai gorsaf Llanfallteg wedi edrych yn y leifrifoedd, gyda gwybodaeth hanesyddol a thechnegol a ddarparwyd gan Dave King. Graham Meredith wedi cynhyrchu dyluniad cyffredinol, mapiau a lluniau a dylunio aros Phil Gwelodd y prosiect i dylunio terfynol a chynhyrchu. ‘BOGOF’ i gwall wrth wneud y gosodiadau ar gyfer y Bwrdd, sy’n (a achosir rhai ffwdan i’r tîm yn y lle cyntaf), a roddwyd inni Bwrdd dyblyg, bydd mewn sefyllfa cyn bo hir, ger Neuadd y Mileniwm.

The Memorial Playing Field Trustees are seeking replacement Trustees to fill vacancies arising from retirement. The role is not demanding – two meeting per year, and any time you can give to manage the affairs of the playing field.

Vortipor Information Board Unveiled

After months of work by members of the History Society and Community Association, the Interactive Trails Notice Board was unveiled by Lilly and Grace Young, on Saturday afternoon, 24th September. There are bilingual leaflets to go with each of the trails and those with “smart devices” will be able to scan the QR codes for additional information. Development work is ongoing and new features will appear over the next few months.

This project has been supported by the Welsh Government, Carmarthenshire County Council, The Tywi Centre, The Countryside Council for Wales, the National Trust and the European Agricultural Fund.
