HENLLANFALLTEG COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

The minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Henllanfallteg Community Association held in the Millennium Hall at 19.00 on Wednesday 3rd May 2006

There were 26 members present.

Apologies were received from Gary Mackenzie

The minutes of the 2005 AGM were read out and agreed.

The Chair’s report was received. A vote of thanks was given to the chair for the hard work she had put in over the past year.

The Treasurer’s report and audited accounts were received. The closing balance at the year-end totaled £12,344.98. Thanks were expressed to the Auditor Mr. Gideon Carpenter, who was re-appointed for the 2006/7 year.

The revised constitution of the Henllanfallteg Community Association was presented to members present. Following explanation of the changes from the past constitution being explained to members, the new constitution was adopted unanimously. Thanks were given for the work done by the Internal Affairs Subcommittee set up to look at the constitutional requirements after last year’s AGM.

Mrs. Karen James and Mrs. Heather Bearman did not stand for re-election. The positions of both Secretary and Treasurer therefore became vacant. Thanks were given to the secretary who had been one of the founder members of the Association. Thanks were also given to the Treasurer for her contribution over the past two years.

The following were nominated and elected from the General Membership -

All of these nominated and elected persons (12) make up the new General Management Committee and were now also the Trustees.

Other Business.

Fete Arrangements were discussed in general terms. It was resolved that in the future “The fete be organised jointly and that a fee for the use of the Millennium Hall in conjunction with the Fete be decided by negotiation each year.”
